The Small Animal Welfare Act 2007

At Abbfabb Academy of Dog Grooming Training, we whole-heartedly support the protection, given by law, to the small animal community.

The basic principles of the Act are that all animals have the right to ;

a) Protection from pain, suffering, injury and disease

b) A suitable diet and access to clean water

c) A suitable living environment which is clean and fit for purpose

d) Live with or not with, other animals as appropriate and

e) Express normal behaviour patterns.

All the above are thoroughly incorporated into the daily routine at Abbfabb Academy, because to be a professional kind and caring groomer you will first and foremost attend to the welfare of the animals in your care.
