The Abbfabb Academy Dog Grooming Theory Course

Our theory hand book is full of interesting self-study exercises ranging from Health and Safety through to trimming lines on bodies, tails and feet.

Many people believe that theory is un-important - but it is necessary because every day of your working life as a groomer you will need to be thinking about different styles, breeds, and a thorough knowledge of how to use your equipment in order to put your grooming into practice.

And of course theory matters when it comes to taking your grooming exams.

You will not be spoon-fed for your studies….you are expected to do a lot of research and assignments in order to complete the work required.

A lot of what you will learn is subjects covered that can appear in the City & Guilds  theory exams.
