The 8 Day Course

This  course is suitable for those wishing to offer a wash-and-brush dog grooming service alongside other complimentary animal care businesses.

Dog-walkers/sitters, boarding-kennel staff,veterinary nurses and hydrotherapy staff are examples of those who would benefit from offering an additional dog grooming service.

And many pet owners have taken this course so that they can competently bath and dry their own dogs.

* Health & Safety and grooming-relevent legislation

* Safe handling and the groomers health check

* Nail, ear and eye care

* Identifying canine parasites and disease

* Grooming out, bathing and drying the various coat types

* Trimming the pads of the feet.

 Although this is not a CityGuilds qualification, you will be assessed during the  course and on completion, successful candidates will receive  our foundation cerificate  in basic dog grooming skills.
