The City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Professional Dog Grooming


  This is the second part of the Level 3 qualification
 

  Although you will have been trained to this standard during
  The 45 Day Course,  we strongly recommend that you have at least  12 months experience as a dog groomer before you consider taking the final practical exams.


  To complete the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming you will need …..


  * To have completed the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Introductory Dog Grooming

  * To trim two dogs, each within 1 hour ( pre-bathed, and ears, nails and sanitary areas to      be already done )

  * To perform a hand-strip 


   The required trims for the 1 hour exams are …….

  *  A Gundog ( Cocker or Springer Spaniel

  * A short-legged terrier ( Westie, Scottie or Sealyham )

  * The two 1 hour trim exams have to be taken at an approved City & Guilds examination    centre, and the examiners are externally appointed by The Pet Care Trade Association.

  * The fees for the above dog grooming examinations are payable directly to The Pet Care    Trade Association and are NOT included in our course fees

  * Please note that Abbfabb Academy of Dog Grooming Training is a City & Guilds    approved examination centre.


  * The hand-strip can be taken as an add-on to the assessments for the
City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Introductory Dog Grooming at Abbfabb Academy of Dog Grooming Training. Eve Somers will be the assessor. This will incur an additional fee of £100-00.
